Randy MacDonald MacDonald Motorsports NASCAR Nationwide Series
“In Milwaukee, it was interesting to watch several young drivers compete with such intensity. They were quick to make chassis adjustments, and by the end, a strong rivalry developed.”
J.C. Kester 2008 Star Mazda Championship Driver #24 Kester Racing Team
“There is no doubt that simulators are excellent tools for drivers. Having been involved in professional motorsports myself for several years now I have tried many of these simulators, none compare to the Virtual Concept Simulator though. Its screen literally places you inside the sim…no breaks in the screen like other systems. This truly is a great sim!”
Kristy Kester 2008 Star Mazda Championship Driver #48 Kester Racing Team
"There is no other simulator like the Virtual Concept Simulator. The force feedback, braking, steering, and motion are extremely realistic, but the 180 degree immersion screen is what makes the Virtual Concept Simulator so unique. It gives you a one-of-a-kind experience by making you feel like you are actually in the car. As a race car driver, it helps me by providing me with an opportunity to train off the track, too. On top of all that, it's also just a whole lot of fun to use!"
Richard Kent 2009 Star Mazda Driver Andersen Racing
"I found the RS1 to be extremely realistic, the way in which it fully immersed me into the scenario was fantastic. What a fantastic resource this would be for any one needing to learn circuits."
Peter Dempsey 2009 Star Mazda Championship Driver Aim Autosport
“The RS1 Xtreme M3 simulator was awesome to have at both Sebring International Raceway and Virginia International Raceway. I was able to learn the proper gears and braking points for all of the corners on the track before I took my Aim Autosport Star Mazda out for the first practice session. Virginia International Raceway on the simulator is very similar to the real thing. As the weekend progressed, I used the simulator to try different lines and braking points around the track. I tried these adjustments on the simulator first; that way if something went wrong, I could just reset and go back to the pits! This saved me a lot on repairs! When I analyzed the data from the Star Mazda, I noticed I was over-braking the car going into turns 3 and 4. In turns 10 and 17, I wasn't carrying enough speed. I used the simulator before qualifying to work on these corners. This gave me a great advantage as I recorded my best lap time of the weekend and qualified in Position 2, 0.12 seconds behind Pole Position. A few more rounds of practice on the simulator before Sunday’s race helped me get to the front and take the win. I would like to thank the Virtual Concept team for allowing me spend so much time on it!”
